Built in 1971, and named after a former THA Commissioner J. L. Young Garden Apartments houses primarily the elderly and disabled within its 450 units. An annex comprised of 50 additional units was added later. This property has an on-site clinic that began as a collaborative effort between nurses at the University of South Florida, the County Health Department and area health care providers.
